Horse Controversy on The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won

The public has been outraged by Lee Bang Won’s drama The King of Tears since the horse employed in the show’s deadly stunt has perished. The horse died as a result of injuries sustained in an accident while executing an action sequence.

The Korean Animal Welfare Association (KAWA) announced on January 20 that the horse in the action scene had passed away. As a consequence, KAWA ultimately denounced The King of Tears’ production crew as animal cruelty and violence violators.

“During the production of a sequence in the KBS drama ‘The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won,’ the Korean Animal Welfare Association filed complaints of animal mistreatment. On this occasion, we were able to get the footage from the drama’s shooting.” KAWA formally stated.

The horse was seen trotting and then abruptly tossed and crashed, landing on its neck, according to the footage. By examining the tape more closely, it was discovered that the cables tied to the horse’s hind legs were abruptly yanked with enormous power, causing the animal to turn over and collapse.

Unfortunately, no one from the production crew evaluated the horse’s healthiness after the accident. And, the people were enraged as a result of this.

According to the KAWA, KBS verified that the horse died days after the accident as a result of the accident’s repercussions. Many netizens were outraged because KBS waited too many days to verify the horse’s condition and only did so after KAWA requested it.

Lee Bang Won’s drama was ultimately condemned and requested to be pulled from television broadcasts due to the production team’s incompetence. Korean netizens are now actively promoting petitions to prevent the series from airing.
