Synopsis of Thirty-Nine KDrama

Thirty-Nine is a play that depicts the narrative of a relationship that began in elementary school and lasted until the age of 40. Cha Mi Jo (Son Ye Jin) is a dermatologist who has her own clinic in Gangnam, Seoul. Born into a rich family, Cha Mi Jo has a graceful personality.

Cha Mi Jo has two best friends, Jung Chan Young (Jeon Mi Do), and Jang Joo Hee (Kim Ji Hyun) who have been friends since childhood and grew up together. Jung Chan Young is an acting teacher with the opposite personality from Cha Mi Jo. Jung Chan Young is known as a feisty lady who often uses abrasive language. Then there’s Jang Joo Hee, who works as a cosmetics manager at a department store.

Being at the end of their 30s, they will undoubtedly face a variety of unpleasant conditions and worries. Regardless of the challenges they face, they always support one another in pleasure and sadness.

Son Ye Jin, whose real name is Son Eon Jin, is known for her versatile acting qualities in playing a number of the characters she stars in. This actress, who was born in 1982, is a Chungmuro actress, which translates to “class A star” or “top cinema star” in South Korea.

Jeon Mi Do
