KMazing – Another member from used-to-be famous girl band After School is graduating, after Kahi, Jooyeon, Jungah “graduated” from the group several years ago and now, UEE confirmed her departure from the group. According to Pledis Entertainment, UEE chose not to renew her contract with the agency. The idols are currently looking for new labels, but the agency does not want to call the departure of UEE as sign of After School’s breakup.

“UEE will be leaving After School since her contract has ended. We will cheer each other on in our future endeavors. This does not mark the disbandment of After School.”

Later on it was confirmed that UEE is joining Yuleum Entertainment. The agency which several actor mostly musical is signing in. UEE then took her time to write a farewell handwritten letter for her fans in which she posted on her fan-cafe. The ex-idol is thanking everyone who has been helping her to became what she is today, and express her gratitude toward the member of After School who was very supportive.

It seems like just yesterday that I debuted as a member of After School as a new recruit, but it’s already been 8 years. Since then, the members who were in high school have become college students, and my front seat has changed. During my promotions, the word ‘graduation’ felt foreign to me, but now it’s my turn. Time goes so fast. Even though I can no longer be After School’s UEE, I will never forget that I am a graduate of After School, where ever I may be. I would like to thank everyone in the Pledis family, and am thankful and apologetic toward the [After School] members.
