As of 31 March 2017, Suzy’s contract with JYP Entertainment has ended and up until now there is still discussion between Suzy and JYP Management. The condition right now is Suzy has neither renewed her contract with JYP Entertainment nor signed with anyone else.

According to the report from insider, at this rate of discussion Suzy will not be renewing her contract with JYP Entertainment. She was expected to create one-man agency to represent herself, the rumor spark because of Suzy sudden interest in process of establishing one-man company.

There have been zero progress nor update on discussion about her new contract, and according to the report Suzy has rejected several  offers from other agencies. The idol-actress still focusing her attention on her work, as she is currently filming new drama titled “While You were Sleeping” with Lee Jong Suk. During her work in the location, she is seen still accompanied by JYP staff and managing team. It is suspected that the negotiation about new contract will resume after Suzy finishes her project. There are still no confirmation from Suzy’s side nor coming from JYP Entertainment on any rumor shivering around the future of one of the brightest K-Pop star. Suzy debut with girl group Miss A but then turned to acting and goes to stardom after her sensational performance on television series “Dream High”
