KMazing– K-Pop girl group Red Velvet member Yeri will take part in a new web drama titled Blue Birthday. He will be playing her part with Hongseok, a member of the boyband PENTAGON. According to Soompi, the web drama Blue Birthday is a drama that combines three genres, thriller, romance, and fantasy.

The K-drama follows the main character’s life story in dealing with past events through a mysterious image left by a friend who committed suicide. Blue Birthday will be produced by Playlist, a web drama production house in South Korea that also produces the A-TEEN series and Love Playlist.

Furthermore, the drama production team of Blue Birthday is reportedly is in the phase of making some preparations to start filming as soon as summer 2021. The drama is predicted to be making its premiere in the second half of 2021.

The two main casts of the drama are positively considering the offer, but it will be interesting to see which actors and actresses that will fill the role of supporting cast on the Blue Birthday.

Yeri Red Velvet Filmography

Previously, Yeri Red Velvet was also involved in a Korean drama production entitled Drama Stage 2021: Mint Condition. In the drama, she plays a character called Hong Chae-Ri, who is a nurse at a hospital.

The Korean drama that was directed by Jung Hyung-geon and writer Bang So-min air through the tvN channel with a total of 10 episodes.

Meanwhile, Hongseok, who is Yeri’s counterpart in this drama, is a member of the boyband PENTAGON. Previously, he has starred in several dramas such as Best Chicken and Phoenix 2020 and web dramas such as On the Campus and Anniversary Anyway.
